Cariboo Run Crew Annual General Meeting

Date: December 6, 2025

Attendees: Kim Lewis, Kelsey Miller, Deanna Saunders, Renelle Hunter, Melissa Hogan, 

  1. Welcome and Introductions

    • Current positions held:

      • Kim Lewis: President

      • Kelsey Miller: Treasurer and Secretary

      • Kelsey Miller: Vice President (temporary, position vacant)

      • Deanna, Renelle, Madison, Melissa: Run Leaders

      • Madison: Community Engagement

 

  1. Available Positions and Adjustments

    • Vice President: Position available.

    • Run Leaders: Open to additional volunteers – the more the merrier!

    • Race Coordinators: Volunteers needed.

    • Website Tech and Registrations: 

  2. Weekly Runs 

    • Wednesdays at 5:30 PM, thoughts?

      • Currently running from Station House Gallery

      • Response from attendants and online survey were in favor of continuing same time and place for next year

      • all in favor of keeping Wednesdays 5-8kms

    • Saturdays at 9:00 AM:

      • Currently running at various locations

      • Response from attendants and online survey were in favor of continuing same time and place for next year.

      • Some responses from online survey requested longer runs or options of distances on Saturdays

    • Open for further thoughts and opinions from members.

  3. Finances

    • Current balance - $1, 908.35

    • Money in: 

      • Membership registrations: 24 registrants, $600.00

      • Race Registrations: 68 registrations, $1790.00

      • Received a community event grant through the City of Williams Lake. $500 in July 2025

    • Website costs: $207 per year includes domain

    • T-shirts were made this year, $30 for members, $35 for non members

    • We did a pre-order, ideas and results?

    • Should we offer any other merchandise?

  5. Westsyde Boogie Trail Race Recap

    • Feedback:

      • Race Registrations: 68 registrations, $1790.00

    • 2026 event date – June 20th, 2026!

    • Location, Westsyde trails

    • Distances :

      • Kids/Family run 1 or 3km? 

      • 5km race

      • 15km race – do we switch to 21km? 10Km race was also requested

        • Decision was made to make switch 15km race to 21km for 2026 race. ​
